Project overview

The America’s Green Gateway Phase 1: Pier B Early Rail Enhancements Project includes three components: a new locomotive facility, east and west rail yard extensions, and a 10,000-foot support track. It will add a support facility for 24 locomotives, three new yard tracks, and extend five existing tracks to boost port cargo efficiency and rail worker safety. This project received $52,300,000 in PIDP 2021.
