In November 2024, HACC hosted its second convening and workshop for port practitioners, industry partners and community leaders. The workshop included deep-dive learning sessions on port electrification, energy and future fuels, port real estate powers and policy. Working sessions included a port project simulation and rotations on port real estate leases and policy development.

In March 2024, HACC hosted its inaugural convening in San Francisco in March 2024. The workshop brought together inaugural members of the Collective for dynamic discussions and working groups focused on three critical themes: policy levers, technological innovation and financing sustainable development at ports. The convening included a site visit to America's first hydrogen fuel cell ferry, the Sea Change.
